KPOP x PPOP: POPSTIVAL 2022 is coming!

As the music of KPOP continues to dominate the world, PPOP hopes to do the same. POPSTIVAL 2022 is an event made for both K-POP and P-POP fans where their favorite artists will be performing in one stage. Presented by Neuwave Events and Productions, POPSTIVAL 2022 is happening this October 21, 2022, Friday, 5pm at the SMDC Festival Grounds.

PPOP artists that you should look out for

Together with P-POP soloists Lady Pipay and FELIP, P-POP groups included in the lineup are G22, VXON, Alamat, Calista, KAIA, Press Hit Play, BINI and the renowned Filipino group, SB19.

G22

G22 is a 4-member girl group who just debuted last February 25 with their song ‘BANG’. Under Cornerstone Entertainment, their members are AJ, Alfea, Bianca, and Jaz.

VXON

VXON, on the other hand, is a 5-member boy group also under Cornerstone Entertainment with C13, Sam, Patrick, Vince, and Franz as their members. They debuted this year with their song ‘The Beast’ to which they got their title as “Monster Rookies of P-POP” from the public.

Alamat

Another boy group to perform is Alamat who is composed of Taneo, Mo, Tomás, R-ji, Alas and Jao. They are known for their colorful and Filipino cultured inspired music videos especially in their debut song ‘kbye’ which was released in February 2021.

Calista

Joining the line up is Calista with members Anne, Dain, Laiza, Elle, Denise and Olive, who also debuted this year with the song ‘Race Car’.

KAIA

Freshly debuted last April, KAIA will also be present with members Angela, Charice, Charlotte, Sophia, and Alexa. They are the sister group of SB19 under ShowBT Philippines Entertainment.

Press Hit Play

Press Hit Play, a 4-member boy group with Charles, Yuuki, Sev, and JP as members, will also be exciting the crowd. They are also set to release their new single titled ‘Forever Young’ on the 21st.

BINI

With their recently released single titled ‘Strings’, girl group BINI will also be performing alongside the other groups. They are an 8-member girl group with members namely Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha and Sheena.

SB19

Completing the PPOP group line up is none other than SB19 who are dubbed as the PPOP Kings. With members Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, they started rising to fame when their dance video practice of their song titled ‘Go Up’ blew the internet. One of their members, Ken, under his solo name, FELIP, will also be having his own stage at the event.

Lady Pipay

Aside from these personalities, host, vlogger, and dancer, Lady Pipay, is also set to turn up the stage with her performance.

KPOP artists that you should not miss

Notable K-POP acts such as soloist BE’O, Queendom participants HYOLYN, LOONA, VIVIZ, BRAVE GIRLS, and Park Bom, will also be gracing the festival grounds.

BE’O

BE’O, the only male soloist in the roster of KPOP artists who will perform on this event, was known for his hit performance, ‘Counting Stars’, on Show Me the Money 10.

Hyolyn

The recently concluded Queendom 2 will have its participants perform on stage such as the former member of SISTAR, Hyolyn, who will be returning to the Philippines as a soloist.

LOONA

Aside from her, LOONA will be having their first Philippine stage. They are composed of 12-members who debuted on August 19, 2018 with their song ‘Hi High’.

VIVIZ

On the other hand, Eunha, SinB, and Umji will be performing as VIVIZ in front of their Filipino fans for the first time ever since they signed under BPM Entertainment as a three-member girl group.

Brave Girls

Another first timer in the Philippines is Brave Girls who popped off the chart with their song ‘Rollin’’ last year. They are composed of Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna under Brave Entertainment.

Park Bom

And lastly, Park Bom will be closing the event as she faces her Filipino fans as a soloist this time. She was a member of YG Entertainment’s biggest girl group, 2NE1.

Aside from the performances, there will also be pre-event activities starting at 8am with the POPSTIVAL motorcade and the POPSTIVAL: The Pre-Show at 1pm where special guests will also be performing and prizes to be given away.
