It’s only a few days away ‘till Taiwanese-American singer-song writer, MARK TUAN takes over the Manila stage for his MARK TUAN ‘THE OTHER SIDE’ ASIA TOUR IN MANILA at the Skydome SM North Edsa happening this weekend, January 14, 2023.
The Other Side Tour first embarked its Asian leg last year in Taiwan on November 4th, 2023 followed by other neighboring countries such as Macao and Kuala Lumpur, making Manila the tour’s fourth stop.
A Glimpse into Mark’s World
Famous for his charismatic stage presence and dynamic dance moves, Mark Tuan first graced the limelight in 2014 debuting in the seven-member boy group, GOT7, under JYP Entertainment. During his time with the group, Mark also made a pivotal contribution as a songwriter and producer with tracks like, “See the Light”, “My Home”, “Let Me”, “Think About It”, “Born Ready”, showcasing his ability to maneuver across different musical genres. Notably, Mark also served as the executive producer for the music video of “Encore”, released in 2021 after the group’s departure from JYP.
Nothing is coming to an end, just the beginning.
As a solo artist, Mark explored more in developing his craft unveiling the other side of his incredible artistry. His debut in 2021 with “One In A Million”, signaled a new chapter in his musical journey, highlighting his distinct style and creative direction.
In 2022, Mark released his first studio album, The Other Side, which featured a blend of soulful tracks and upbeat melodies, like “Lonely”, “Exhausted”, “Last Breath”, and “My Life”. Its release came about the announcement of his first solo tour taking its first flight in North America with Mark performing in 15 cities.
Long Wait is Over!
With his tour coming to Manila, Filipino Ahgases have finally come to fulfill their GOT7 Manila Tingi list—referring to the group’s solo visits in the country; and witness Mark grace Skydome with never-before-seen performances.
