Park Bo Gum In Manila – Definitely a Good Day to Remember

by Philippine KPOP Convention June 22, 2020
written by Philippine KPOP Convention

A day before the fan meeting, Park Bo Gum met some media outlets and his fans on a press conference wherein he shared how excited he is for the fan meeting. Park Bo Gum’s fan meeting in Manila was first scheduled last April 27 but was postponed to June 22 because of the earthquakes that happened in the Philippines.

Park Bo Gum during his Press Conference

After waiting for a couple of weeks, SM Mall of Asia Arena was filled with loud screams and shouts as the fans witnessed the charms of the one and only Park Bo Gum for his “Good Day” Fan Meeting in Manila.

Here are some of the highlights of the event:

1. Getting to Know Park Bo Gum more

During the first part of the fan meeting, Anne Curtis, the fan meeting’s host, asked Park Bo Gum on what he wants to achieve or have before reaching the age of 40. Park Bo Gum mentioned that he wanted, first, to get married. Second, to have a baby. And lastly, he wanted to study abroad and be able to act in a foreign film.

There are still plenty of years to come. We believe he can achieve these things.

2. Park Bo Gum proving that he is a total package

Acting? Singing? Dancing? Park Bo Gum has it all. Wearing a dark blue suit, Park Bo Gum opened the fan meeting with his own rendition of DAY6’s I Like You which made the fans literally say “I like you too!”

On the second part of the fan meeting, Park Bo Gum showed the crowd more of his singing abilities as he performed songs like IU’s “Through The Night”, his drama OSTs, “Always Be with You” from Encounter; and “My Person” from Love in the Moonlight.

Not only that, he even proved that he can sing other song genre as he sings “Bounce”, “Honey”, and “Entertainer”.

Before the fan meet ended, he also showed that he is an idol-material by showing his dancing skills as he performs TWICE’s “What is Love?”, Seventeen’s “Pretty U”, and BTS’ “Boy with Luv” which he learned the choreography from BTS’ V.

3. Park Bo Gum’s love to his fans

Living by his nickname “Nation’s Boyfriend”, Park Bo Gum showed a different kind of fan service that everyone will truly remember. From asking the fan’s name, to giving calendar gifts, until going to every section of the arena.

You can definitely feel his sincerity and love to his fans.

4. Park Bo Gum’s “Nasa Iyo na ang Lahat”

Of course, a fan meet won’t be complete if we wouldn’t hear Park Bo Gum sing a Tagalog song. He mentioned that he prepared for this stage and eventually performed Daniel Padilla’s hit song, “Nasa Iyo na ang Lahat”, not to mention his pronunciation was great. The crowd even managed to sing with Park Bo Gum.

5. Hi-touch Session

The most awaited part of the fan meeting is the hi-touch session. The good thing here is that everyone who attended the fan meeting will get to be closer to him and touch his hands. Bo Gum’s energy during the hi-touch session made everyone love him more. He never showed that he is tired instead he showed his hyper side.

Not only that, before leaving the venue, they also gave a letter from Park Bo Gum.

This day was definitely a good day to remember. 2019 Park Bo Gum Asia Tour GOOD Day in Manila is brought to fans by Blossom Entertainment, Ovation Productions and ABS-CBN Events.

We would like to thank Ovation Productions for inviting us on this event. #ParkBoGumMNL
