Kang Daniel grabbed his fifth win for his comeback track “2U” on “M Countdown.” However, he already wrapped up his music show promotions for “2U” last week, that is why he did not perform it on the said music show.

Meanwhile, TWICE‘s debut song “Like OOH-AHH” has now reached 350 million views on Youtube. The group made its debut back October 2015 with it as the title track on their first mini-album, “The Story Begins.” Now, their debut song is the group’s fifth music video to surpassed 350 million views. Meanwhile, WINNER made their heart-warming return with their studio album “Remember” together with a music video for the title track with the same name. The song gives so much emotions with its moving lyrics such as “remember me.” In addition to that is a heartfelt music video of WINNER’s journey together with their very own Inner Circle in the past years.

by Fern Estrebello April 3, 2020
written by Fern Estrebello

This generation has a lot of K-Pop groups that are already breaking the boundaries of east and west music. Despite of language differences, its undeniably a fact that K-Pop as a genre is irresistible. For that, the Kpop industry serves different groups for you to stan. Let’s take a closer look to one of the rising girl group right now – ITZY!

get to know ITZY

The one-year old girl group, ITZY, under JYP Entertainment is one of the popular groups right now.

One of the members, Chaeryeong, joined ‘K-Pop Star 3’ and also JYPE’s survival show ‘Sixteen’ – where the winning girls will debut as TWICE.

Member Ryujin was also a contestant IN JTBC’s survival show ‘Mixnine’ while member Yeji happened to be a contestant on SBS ‘The Fan.’ Except Lia, the three members together with Yuna had also appeared on Mnet’s reality show for Stray Kids back then 2017.

Like any group, ITZY’s debut was not an easy-peasy one. However, surviving throughout the years of training had paved their progressive success at the moment.

Their debut song, “Dalla Dalla” had made a big noise after it was released. With its empowering lyrics, there is no doubt how it entered at No. 3 and peaked at No. 2 on the World Digital Song Sales chart. Meanwhile, their aesthetically-done music video is now close to 200 million views.

ITZY is also the group who got the fastest win on the music show M Countdown, which was just 8 days after debut.

They’ve received awards from Asia Artists Awards and Golden Disc Award for 2019’s Rookie of the Year title.

To date, the group made a big comeback last March 9 with their lead single “Wanna Be’ and in just 24 hours the music video had already surpassed more than 10 million views.

The girls still have a long way to go and building a strong bond together with their MIDZY, their journey will surely be fun and exciting. So what are you waiting for now, stan ITZY!

We’re back with another list of K-pop releases and comebacks that happened this week! There’s a lot of hidden gems in store again! Ofcourse, we got SUHO’s most awaited solo debut album title track on the list! Together with these songs, we hope everyone’s doing fine!

March 28 – Han Yohan, a singer who debuted in 2010 came back with his new album “원기옥” showcasing the speedy title track “400KM”

March 29 – O.WHEN‘s new song “LONELY” is a spring song that is like a sweet love song but is really not. Find out how this song is about loneliness, but is covered up with bright emotions! Plus, the music video is filmed in the beautiful island of Jeju!

March 30 – SUHO‘s most awaited solo debut first mini album “Self-Portrait” with the title song ‘사랑, 하자’(Let’s Love) was released and it’s totally heart knocking! ‘사랑, 하자’(Let’s Love) is a modern rock song with a lyrical atmosphere and lovely melody. Suho’s sweet voice was supported by the performance of a real band session, boosting the dramatic mood of the song. It is a story about a person who is clumsy and lacking in love meets someone who fills the gap and dreams of a new love again. He expressed his feelings for the dazzling moments that were changing from love.
