MONSTA X are set to have their own reality show. Seezn, a streaming app, announced the group’s show entitled “MONSTA X Is on Vacation Right Now.” Teasers are set to drop this month while the trailer of the first episodes will be released on June 1 at 11 p.m. KST.

The premier will be on June 10 at 6 p.m. KST whereas every episode will be released every Wednesday and Thursday. MONSTA X is will have a comeback this May 26 with their mini album “FANATASIA X.”
May 19
BIGBANG’s Taeyang just dropped the first episode of his documentary film during his “White Night” concert. It features Taeyang’s journey during the preparation of it. It also highlights the opinions and thoughts of the people around him during that time. It covers Taeyang’s progress, professionalism, being himself and of course how he is as an artist.
As of now, there are already three episodes released in Taeyang’s YouTube channel. The first episode entitled, “The midnight sun,” second episode, “Eclipse” and third episode, “Daybreak.”

WINNER’s Yoon is back to acting as YG Entertainment confirmed that he will star on the upcoming MBC drama “Kairos.” A romantic fantasy thriller about a man who falls into shock when his daughter is kidnapped, and a woman named Ae Ri who is looking for her missing mother. Yoon will be playing “Lim Gun Wook” Ae Ri’s friend. His character will play an important role in Ae Ri’s search for her mother. The drama is slated to be released in second half of the year.

Meanwhile, RAIN and Block B’s Zico will be mentors on the upcoming Mnet’s reality show “I-LAND.” This reality show will be the first project from BELIF+ a joint venture between CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment. The two will join as mentors in producer lineup. “I-LAND” will premier on Mnet on June 26 at 11 p.m. KST.

It was reported that Sunmi is preparing for a comeback this June or on early July. Her agency MakeUs Entertainment confirmed it. This week it is expected that she will be having her album jacket photo shoot. Meanwhile, Sunmi is also set to MC on the SBS special pilot program “Sunmi’s Video Store,” which is scheduled to air on June 7 at 11:05 p.m. KST.

YG Entertainment announced another detail on their new boy group TREASURE regarding on their debut. It was announced that member Bang Yedam will be releasing a single album before TREASURE officially debuts in July. YGE clarified that Yedam’s solo project has long before arranged. The solo was also intended as a surprise gift for fans before the group’s debut. It is also added that it has a music video but Yedam will not make any appearances to promote the song.

Roy Kim’s agency Stone Entertainment confirmed that he will be releasing a new song before his enlistment. “Roy Kim will be releasing a new song on May 27. Written with Roy Kim’s unique emotions, the song he composed himself will contain his sincere feelings. Afterwards, Roy Kim will enlist on June 15 to the Marine Training Crops located in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province to carry out his military duties,” his agency said. The song will also be his first song after almost two years following release of ” The Hardest Part” in September 2018.

As TWICE is now teasing everyone with their comeback next month, their song “Fancy” has just reached another milestone. The song that was released back then April 2019 has now over 300 million views making it their seventh song to reach that number. While waiting for their comeback, cheers to celebrate “Fancy.”

Day6 dropped the music video of their comeback song “Zombie.” The song is composed by Jae and Hong Ji Sang, while the lyrics were written by Young K and Wonpil.
Meanwhile, rookie group CRAVITY officially announced their fandom name during their V live broadcast. Starting today, they will call their fans “Luvity.”

YG Entertainment rookie group “Treasure” finally announced their debut date, which will happen on July. The agency promised to fans that they will announce the exact date and other information soon.

Astro earned their first win for their recent comeback song “Knock” on MBC Music Show Champion where NCT Dream’s “Ridin”, IU’s “Eight” (ft. BTS’s Suga), OHMYGIRL’s “Nonstop” and Taeyeon’s “Happy” as their rivals.

MAY 14
In celebration of Monsta X’s 5th year anniversary, the group surprised their fans with a music video for their song “Monsta Truck”.
MAY 15
In today’s episode of KBS’s “Music Bank,” OHMYGIRL’s “Nonstop” bagged its 8th win by winning no.1 on the show. The girls got 5,922 points while their rival Astro got 5,747 points.

On the same day, Momoland’s agency confirmed the group’s comeback in early June. MLD Entertainment explained that the release date has not been decided, but the girls already finished filming their music video.

Also, Marie Claire Korea’s Youtube channel posted a video of Blackpink’s Jennie introducing “Jentle Home.” It was a pop-up store made by the eyeglass brand Gentle Monster with a collaboration with Jennie.

IU posted on her official twitter account an acoustic version of her newest released song “Eight,” which originally featured Suga of BTS. She revealed that the acoustic version was a celebration for her birthday as well as by achieving 3 million subscribers on Youtube.
