Another first in the local K-pop community, Ripples For Hope 2022 was one more platform that brought K-pop fans together through games by day and a spectacular concert by night.
The day part was when 19 fan clubs competed in 6 games that tested their strength, patience, and friendship. A good mix of 1st generation to the 4th generation of K-pop fans participated and cheered for each other. Some of the games were Red Light, Green Light, Obstacle Course, Trip to Jerusalem, and the Ugly Duckling which determined the fate of the 1st Ripple Champion: Team BangKon (composed of Bigbang Philippines and iKon Philippines).
The concert at night kept the hype with the performances from EVERGLOW, MOMOLAND, and AKMU. The Ripple winners also had the opportunity to take photos with the artists.
EVERGLOW performed hits like Dundun and Pirate. It was the first time the girls visited the country and even tried greeting their fans in Tagalog. The 2nd runner-up, Team Seventeen, got to be up close with the girls and take a photo.
MOMOLAND members were no strangers on the Philippine stage and performed their songs like Yummy Yummy Love, BAAM, and BBoom BBoom. The 1st runner-up, Team PinkDay, was all smiles when it was their turn to take a photo with girls.
The crowd got all excited when the siblings Akdong Musician or better known as AKMU, finally graced the stage. It was their first time in the Philippines and performed crowd favorites like Dinosaur, Give Love, and 200%. Just like fate, the Ripple Champion – Team Bangkon, representing YG artists gets to take a photo with AKMU.
Ripples For Hope 2022 was presented by Happee Hour, Pulp Live World, Ripple Society, and the Philippine Kpop Convention Inc. and its affiliated fanclubs.
