It was a Stunning night to remember for Kangin and his Philippine Camomiles who finally met each other after a decade of wait.
On January 11th, KANGIN started the first stop of his 2026 STUNNING TOGETHER FANMEETING TOUR in Manila at SM North Edsa Skydome. It was a lovely night for all the fans who have waited for the South Korean Singer and Actor who have come from a long hiatus. After his successful Fan meeting Tour in Mexico last April 2024 with KANGIN: INSIDE OUT DAY – this event marks KANGIN’s first successful solo event in the country.
Being one of the lead pioneers of the Second Generation Kpop Craze, Kangin did not disappoint and had an emotional connection with his fans who persevered and waited for him to come back to the limelight. It was a reunion like no other as the crowd helped him to overcome his anxiety and while KANGIN healed all the childhood fangirl hearts of everyone in the crowd that night.
After opening the show by his clear vocals and with the beautiful rendition of the song “I’M GONNA LOVE YOU”, the Skydome was filled up with the Sapphire Blue Ocean – the official Fandom Color of Super Junior which for sure made KANGIN nostalgic with his time with his former group.
On his first MENT, Kangin said how touched he was with everyone on the Soundcheck Benefit of the Fanmeeting and shared when the days of the Fanmeet comes closer he was feeling anxious and he knew that his fans are also feeling the same way but the thought of meeting everyone is enough to make him happy. KANGIN thanks everyone for the passion and warm welcome that made his anxiety level go down – (which is what Filipino crowd are known for indeed for us being loud and passionate fans who would cheer our favorite artist on no matter what and definitely the crowd of Sapphire Blue Ocean proved that they would still be here for KANGIN always). He promises that together KANGIN and his Philippine Camomiles will spend precious memories together.
KANGIN shares how he was in Manila the last time and how he always has precious memories tied with Manila to remember. His last visit was during BEST OF BEST IN THE PHILIPPINES KPOP CONCERT in Bulacan last April 2015 but it seems KANGIN only remembers SUPER SHOW 5 in Manila which was held last October 2013, regardless the Philippine Camomiles who have waited for years to meet KANGIN and that is the most important thing to be reunited with his loyal fans. He shared that Filipino food is yummy and his top favorites were the following: Pusit, Halo-Halo, Jollibee and Crispy Pata and as he jokingly asked the crowd if anyone has a stash of Halo-Halo or Crispy Pata on their bags because he would definitely eat those again if he could even on stage. The MC, Sir JC Tevez asked KANGIN what is the reason for the name of his Fanmeeting Tour and KANGIN explained that the title STUNNING TOGETHER with words “Ever since my debut up until this day, my fans have always been with me. Thinking about this, I realized together with the fans – we shine brightly so I named the tour, ‘STUNNING TOGETHER’ ” which made the whole crowd charmed by the one and only strong man Kangin.
The First Segment of the Fanmeet has come with the Game: IN THE STUNNING PERFORMANCE – which where videos of viral Tiktok Dance Trends were shown on the screen and KANGIN would perform it. KANGIN danced to the viral SODA POP from KPOP DEMON HUNTERS which made the crowd roar wild and as he has grown comfortable with the never ending support of everyone present that night – he was actively throwing playful jokes and making his fans laugh which for sure is nostalgic for everyone because he was one of the mood makers of his former group. KANGIN danced to Budots which he quite enjoyed so much and gave way to his fans as he performed it multiple times to their hearts’ content and he asked if anyone from the crowd have a stash of Halo-Halo so he could eat it after a segment of dancing so well.
KANGIN awed the crowd with the performance of MIENTES – a performance he did on his fanmeeting in Mexico last 2025. He shared that he wanted to sing it for this fanmeeting too and exceptionally he did so well and it was truly heart-warming.
During the VCR, it showed the preparation and hardwork KANGIN has done for this Fanmeeting Tour. It also showed KANGIN’s thoughtfulness and love for his fans as he shared the First Snow in Korea thru the video as he thought that the countries he would be visiting do not have snow so he was showing it for everyone to enjoy. KANGIN was asked why he filmed everything for this Fanmeeting Tour and he answered with “I don’t really enjoy using SNS so rather posting it on SNS, I think it’s more personal to share it with you during the fanmeet – in Korea we had the first snow I really wanted to show it to you guys as well so being able to share with you my daily life is a great thing for me and more exclusive for the fans.” KANGIN also shared that he lost 7 kilograms for the preparation for the fanmeet which made the fans scream out “Pogi” and where he later replies with “Manloloko, Charot!” with the help of his interpreter.
He also performed the song “I’M SORRY” and he jokingly said he will not be performing SORRY SORRY which made everyone laugh at his silly antics.
The Second Segment of the Fanmeet started with the Game: IN THE GAME TOGETHER – in which Kangin would play Charades with the luckiest fan named Amy coincidentally who also has her birthday that day. KANGIN played exceptionally well despite not guessing the whole 10 words within 100 seconds but redeemed himself when he was the one doing the Charades in which made everyone laugh to their hearts’ content when he acted like a dog peeing in the alley. This resulted with 10 lucky fans who joined him on stage who guessed the words correctly with a once in a lifetime reward of a Selfie with KANGIN!
KANGIN shared a photo on the screen which was his gift for his fans – he explained that the photo was where he was seated alone and a photo of his daily life; he explained that the day which he took the photo was the coldest day in Korea and how he is not really that good taking photos or selfies and how his cup of coffee at first was very warm but it became cold coffee within 5 mins because he was outdoors enjoying the scenery. KANGIN then shared multiple videos and photos of his daily life – making an effort to connect to his fans who have longed for this connection after a very long time. KANGIN also shared how he was on a strict diet and exercise for this fanmeet which earned him awes from everyone where he later reassured fans that “To maintain to be healthy so I can see you guys longer!”
KANGIN was very playful with his fans throughout the whole fanmeeting and he expressed that it is much more wonderful than he expected a fanmeet he wanted to have. The MC asked how was the fanmeet for the crowd, to which the fans answered how happy and enjoyed they were in which KANGIN replies with his favorite word of the day “Charot!” – erupting laughter and roaring scream in the Skydome that stunning Sunday night.
During his last MENT, KANGIN shared “It’s so great I got to see you guys upfront. You guys are so cute because you are all 20 yrs old right?” which made everyone laugh once again from his teasing of his fans only being in their 20’s but in reality everyone grew old together walking in this flower road journey.
He continued with “After 10 years I am now standing on stage. I have a lot of thoughts about it, so I’m nervous but also excited. I felt emotions. I can’t pertain (to) all those emotions but one way that came to me is that all of you who have been here – the biggest thing is to meet you guys. That’s why we meet each other today. Just like how we shine together we are STUNNING TOGETHER. I’ll do my best to grow even more. If you think about it, 10 years has been so long a lot of changes happened in my life but one thing didn’t change – that’s your support and for you guys waiting for me that didn’t change. If I think about it, I was alone – but through your support I have the courage to stand alone on the stage – that’s why I have this big courage to try again. I have personal difficulties but if you think about it it’s the best time not to give up – but during those times what made me stronger was the love and support you guys have given to me so I want to say thank you to everyone of you.”
It was definitely a beautiful night for KANGIN and his Philippine Camomiles – to reconnect again after such a long time and definitely it was a precious memory to remember that the love between an Artist and their loyal fans go beyond borders of language barrier and distance – despite struggles and everything in between. KANGIN was also surprised and got emotional with the fan projects his fans prepared exclusively for him, a hand banner which was shaped as a raccoon (his signature animal on the days he was still with his former group) with the phrase “Kangin, thank you for coming back. We are always by your side.” and a surprise fan video prepared by SJ United PH.
KANGIN performed his last song “LOVE IS PAIN” for the night in which he shared that with courage he added it on the setlist the night before he rode the plane to Manila.
Of course, the night won’t end just like that as KANGIN surprised the crowd with his performance of “PAJAMA PARTY” – making the whole Skydome jump and scream their hearts out like they were transported to the days when KANGIN was still performing with his beloved former group Super Junior. He roamed around the venue to hand out red roses to his fans as a sign of his gratefulness for patiently waiting for him to come back.
KANGIN ended the night with “I am super happy today and I wanted to create a happy memory of everyone but I was worried that I wasn’t able to do that but you guys gave me such a wonderful memory – thank you. The more you guys (have) waited for me so I can show you guys a better Kangin – this time is such a happy party together. I’m so happy and I’ll do my best.”
KANGIN is set to continue his Fanmeeting Tour in Vietnam, Mexico, Peru, Chile and Hongkong until February 28th this year.
