CONQuest 2023 has ended and it was a three day festival filled with fun and interesting activities that everyone definitely enjoyed.
As expected, the event had thousands of people lining up and trying to meet their favorite creators, go to the activities and booths and watch the multiple stage events that were simultaneously happening at the different venues.
Here are some of the highlights of the event:
As you arrived at the SMX Convention Center, you’ll see the street filled with people along the the CQ23 sign and the CQ23 cars. On the other side of the street were multiple food stalls.
Booths from different well-loved companies filled the halls. Questers enjoyed fun activities, on sale merchandise and loads of freebies.
Event-goers also got to experience the Indiezone and Tabletop area where they got to play games from independent studios and board games like Dungeons and Dragons. They also had a wide selection of merchandise from multiple shops and sellers plus fans got to meet and greet their favorite cosplayers, voice actors and creators.
The different stage events brought in a huge crowd. With panels from fishing to gaming, streamers and creators making cookies or having a Valorant showmatch. We even got cosplay competitions and interesting interviews plus the Alliance Games which were so thrilling to watch.
Fans also got to enjoy rave night and music night from talented artists and of course, Korean Rock Band, The Rose graced the stage with their beautiful voices. They even said that one of their goals is to do music for anime or movies.
There might have been some ups and downs but fans are hoping to see an even better festival next year because the CONQuest 2023 hype was definitely an experience they won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
Coming in with glitters and sparkles, the Filo POS partied hard with Minzy last June 4, 2023 at the New Frontier Theater for her first ever concert in Manila, “Glee”!
The night was filled with incomparable performances of her hit songs like “Ninano”, “Fantabulous”, “Te Amo”, “Flashlight”, “Ing”, “Beautiful Lie”, “Superwoman”, and “Lovely”.
Dubbed as one of the dance queens, she showed her prowess by dancing to a relay of songs such as “Savage”, “On & On”, and her single, “All of You Say”.
As the maknae of her former group 2NE1, her set list for the show also contained songs of her group namely “I Am The Best”, “Happy”, “I Don’t Care”, “Lonely”, and “I Love You”.
Minzy surprised her audience by covering GFriend’s “Me Gustas Tu” and Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” on stage.
“This is going to be a memory for me as well. Thank you for all the support and for having my back all the time. I realized that this is like a second home to me. You guys are my family. I will come back to this stage with new music and a better me,” she said in her closing message.
The concert ended with her encore performances of 2NE1’s “Come Back Home”, “I Am The Best”, and “Go Away”.
