Excitement fills the air as Korean heartthrob KIM SEON HO prepares to make his way to KUALA LUMPUR for his highly anticipated fan meeting, the 2023 KIM SEON HO ASIA TOUR in KUALA LUMPUR <ONE, TWO, THREE. SMILE> powered by PULP Live World and Happee Hour, happening on August 18, 2023, 8PM at the MEGA STAR ARENA.

KIM SEON HO, a name that has become synonymous with talent and charm, has taken the Korean entertainment industry by storm. With his magnetic presence, versatile acting skills, and undeniable charm, KIM SEON HO has emerged as one of the most beloved and sought-after actors in recent years.

KIM SEON HO made his acting debut in the drama series Good Manager (2017), cementing his reputation as a versatile actor capable of both comedic and dramatic roles. He also appeared in the fourth season of the Korean variety show 2 Days & 1 Night (2019), where he won ‘Rookie of the Year’ at the 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards. He afterwards starred in numerous notable dramas and series, one of these is Start-Up (2020) which marked his breakthrough role, earning him widespread recognition and a massive fan following.

His performance in Start-Up was recognized by various award-giving bodies. He was nominated for a Supporting Actor for TV award, and won Most Popular Actor at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards and Best Emotive at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards. KIM SEON HO is also known for his lead role as ‘Hong Du Sik’ in the hit series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021). This drama became one of the highest-rated series on television, and he was named ‘Gallup Korea’s Television Actor of the Year’ for his role as Chief Hong.

KIM SEON HO’s rise to stardom has been accompanied by an ever-growing fan base both in South Korea and internationally. His infectious smile, warm personality, and humble demeanor have made him a favorite among fans of all ages. And this year, he is set to embark on an exciting fan meeting tour across Asia which includes Kuala Lumpur as one of his tour stops.

A TIMELESS moment with Taeyeon and PH SONEs

Her promise has been fulfilled. TAEYEON successfully concluded the Manila leg of her tour “The Odd of Love”.

Before the show starts, SONEs get to have some fun time with other fans on the Fanhub, which includes giveaway areas and some programs to hype up the crowd before the main event.

Jumping to the show, Taeyeon opened the show in full throttle with INVU, and she never stops. Hyping the crowd with each of her songs alongside her power vocals and her live band.

In the middle part of the show, she introduces us with some charming sounds like “Weekend” and “You Better Not” then proceeds to songs that she said “you can easily listen to anytime” like “What Do I Call You” and “Playlist”, these songs was really highlighted with the awesome use of lighhts that made the experience 100% times better. Near the end of her main set, she continued to wow the crowd and sing her hits like “Four Seasons”, “Fine” and “I”. She ended her main set with “Time Lapse”.

During encore, TAEYEON participated in many fan requests and took photos with the banner they gave her.

Before ending the show, she made another promise that she would return to Manila no matter what. That’s another promise that we will be looking forward to again.

She closes out the show with “Ending Credits”, waving the purple cloth alongside all the SONEs that are present on the stage.

It truly is a wonderful show that was emphasized more with one of the best stage productions for any K-pop concert we have ever experienced. It truly is a breathtaking show that you have to see to really appreciate it fully. We are looking forward to her return next time, and we already can’t wait.

Promise kept: TAEYEON is coming back to Manila for a full concert

Kim Taeyeon will grace the Philippine stage once again. As promised last April, her tour, The Odd of Love, is coming to Manila on July 30, 2023 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Before we sing along to her songs, let’s take a look at her musical journey from her debut with Girls’ Generation to promoting solo.

Debut - Girls' Generation

In 2007, Taeyeon made her debut as a part of the girl group, Girl’s Generation, with the song “Into The New World”. Upon debuting, Girls’ Generation immediately set the Kpop scene on fire by winning various rookie awards and music shows.

Various Soundtracks

Upon debuting with a group, Taeyeon immediately made an impact as a solo act by releasing various soundtracks from Korean dramas like “If” for the KBS2 drama, Hong Gil Dong.

Solo Promotion

8 years upon debuting with Girls’ Generation, Taeyeon finally got the chance to release her solo EP “I” and with it, she proved her star power by winning multiple awards and music shows as a solo act. The release of her debut EP was just the start as she released more EPs and solo albums which received high respects from not only fans but also critics because of her talented performances.

Variety Prowess

As a member of Girls’ Generation, Taeyeon is no slouch on her variety skills. She proved it even more when she became a permanent cast of tvN’s Amazing Saturday where she received multiple praises from industry experts.

Taeyeon truly is a woman of wonders and we can’t wait to see her soon and hear her wonderful voice again.
