Last July 22, 2024, 10cm met with the press via video conference despite his busy schedule in Malaysia. Opening with a warm greeting to the media, the interview immediately started with questions and stories with regard to his inspirations on his music, OSTs, collaborations and much more.

Known for his drama OSTs, he shares his approach on making his soundtracks by feeling the scene on which the music will be used first and incorporating his voice based on how it must be portrayed on the show. He also shared his some of his song stories like seeing a random sign and using it as an inspiration to writing a new song. Along with the stories for his songs, he specifically chose the song ‘Dear’ to dedicate to all of his fans.

Throughout the interview, he shares his love for music and specially noted his collaboration with TJ Monterde which he admits that he is also a fan of. After talking about his surprise collaboration with TJ Monterde during TJ’s “Sariling Mundo” concert, he also shares his interest on doing a collaboration with another OPM singer, Zack Tabudlo. We hope that we can have this collaboration during his upcoming “Closer To You in Manila” concert on August 31, 2024 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

He cap off the media conference with a message saying thanks to the people who attended the video conference and thanks his fans for their support and he is looking forward to meeting them on his upcoming concert. There was also little tease near the end on which there may be a Philippine music release for 10cm in the future.

The small teases for his upcoming concert made us excited on what surprise he have in store for all his fans. It is definitely a must-go event for his fans which may came from K-Drama enthusiasts who love his OSTs or his fans who journeyed throughout his long musical journey as 10cm.
