BTOB’s Changsub Gears Up for His Solo Concert on March 22 at the SM Skydome

by Philippine KPOP Convention March 21, 2025
written by Philippine KPOP Convention

Lee Changsub, known for his powerful vocals and bright personality, first made his debut as the lead vocalist of the South Korean boy group BTOB (Born to Beat) in 2012 under Cube Entertainment. BTOB captivated fans with their debut track “Insane”, showcasing their emotional vocals and versatility. Over the years, Changsub has continued to stand out with his rich tone and impressive live performances, helping BTOB solidify their place as one of K-pop’s most respected vocal groups.

In 2018, Changsub took a leap in his musical journey with his South Korea solo debut, releasing his first mini-album “Mark”. The album featured heartfelt tracks that allowed him to express his unique musical color and artistry. With “Gone” as the title track, Changsub proved his strength as a soloist, delivering raw emotions and solidifying his place not just as a group member but as an artist in his own right.

After much fan demand, Changsub is finally embarking on his first solo tour, with his sights set on his beloved Filipino Melodies. This special one-night show promises an intimate experience with Changsub as he performs his solo singles—some of which you’ll only hear live in this concert.

Don’t miss this chance to witness Changsub’s heartfelt performances up close.

written by Philippine KPOP Convention

K-pop’s multifaceted all-rounders BOYNEXTDOOR have embarked on their highly anticipated first-ever tour ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1.’ After kicking off with two sold-out shows in Incheon on December 14 & 15, 2024, the sextet set out on an 18 show journey across 13 cities in Asia to meet their fans ONEDOOR and transform the stage into their personal playground.

So far, from January 30 to March 15, they have traveled to six cities in Japan—Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, Miyaji, Fukuoka, and Kanagawa—as well as Singapore, delivering eleven electrifying shows, setting
the tone for the rest of the tour.

As they continue their journey, BOYNEXTDOOR are set to bring an unforgettable array of dynamic, yet effortlessly charismatic performances that span their entire discography. The free-spirited band will perform all of their hit lead singles, including “Nice Guy,” “Earth, Wind & Fire,” “But I Like You,” and “One and Only,” as well as their newest digital single “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU.” They will also treat fans to a serenade of “400 Years,” alongside special VCRs prepared exclusively for the tour. This provides a unique opportunity for ONEDOOR to experience the full scope of BOYNEXTDOOR’s budding career and musical evolution.

Since their debut, the six-piece band has captivated fans worldwide with their signature charm and wit that perfectly complements their self-produced, catchy music. In 2024, they were chosen as Billboard’s ‘Rookie of the Month’ for October and their latest EP 19.99 was included in Billboard’s ‘The 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024’ list. 2025 LEE MINHO ASIA FANMEETING TOUR ‘MINHOVERSE’ IN MANILA

by Philippine KPOP Convention March 12, 2025
written by Philippine KPOP Convention

MINOZ the universe has heard your heart’s wishes and the stars have aligned just for you! Get your spacesuits on and get ready to embark as ‘MINHOVERSE’ is coming your way. So light up your calendars for April 26, 2025, because LEE MINHO is waiting for you at the SM Mall of Asia Arena for the 2025 LEE MINHO ASIA FAN MEETING TOUR ‘MINHOVERSE’ IN MANILA.

Back in 2008, six years after LEE MINHO started his journey to stardom, Kim Su-ro, one of his colleagues in the film “Our School’s E.T.”, said in his words referring to LEE MINHO, “I recognize a star when I see one.” Perhaps Kim Su-ro was right all along when he said that LEE MINHO was going to become one of the star actors in Korea someday. As if it was written in the stars, a year later, 2009, LEE MINHO’s breakthrough having the lead role of Gu Jun Pyo in the television series “Boys Over Flowers”. For some, it was the character of Gu Jun Pyo they fell in love with, but undeniably, for most, it was LEE MINHO’s outstanding acting that had them stuck with him. It is for this reason that he received the award of “Best New Actor” for a television series in the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards and the 2009 KBS Drama Awards. His popularity skyrocketed, making him a Hallyu star.

In his pursuit of becoming one of the top global Hallyu stars, LEE MINHO also took on the leading role of “City Hunter” in 2011, “The Heirs” in 2013, “The Legend of the Blue Sea” in 2016, and “The King: The Eternal Monarch” in 2020, his latest project “When the Stars Gossip”,  and many more. All enjoyed immense popularity both locally and internationally and have adorned LEE MINHO various awards such as the “Top Excellence Award for Actor” in the 2011 Korean Drama Awards and the 2011 SBS Drama Awards for his performance in “City Hunter”, a “Best Asian Actor” in the 2013 Baidu Feidian Awards, a “Breakthrough Performance of the Year” in the 2022 Gold Derby Awards” for Pachinko, and many more. His long list of accolades also includes the “Prime Minister’s Commendation” at the 5th Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards in 2014  for his contribution to the Korean Wave and a “National Brand Award Grand Prize for the Culture Sector” from the Institute of National Brand Promotion in 2017. Without a doubt, LEE MINHO transcended being an actor, he was now a star, one of the brightest in the world.

Throughout the years, LEE MINHO has become a household name not only in Korea but also around the world, being one of the most influential and sought-after Hallyu stars. His unwavering love and dedication not only to his craft but also to his loyal fans have been the driving force behind his phenomenal success, as he continuously strives to connect with them on a deeper level may it be in acting, music, or fan meetings. His EPs “My Everything” in 2013 and “Song for You” in 2014 are a testament to the genuine dedication he holds for MINOZ. He mentioned that he recorded these tracts solely for his fans, with no intention to pursue a singing career.

In the Philippines, Filo MINOZ had multiple opportunities to meet LEE MINHO through fan meetings often tied with brand promotions. But, this time, LEE MINHO will be back for the 2025 LEE MINHO ASIA FAN MEETING TOUR ‘MINHOVERSE’ tour, kicking off on March 8, 2025, in Seoul. And as if by celestial design, the universe has conspired to bring the brightest star close to you on April 26, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena for the 2025 LEE MINHO ASIA FAN MEETING TOUR ‘MINHOVERSE’ IN MANILA!
