Winter Came Early at the Korea Travel Fiesta 2025

by Philippine KPOP Convention September 11, 2025
written by Philippine KPOP Convention

Winter vibes in August? Yep, that’s what it felt like when the Korea Tourism Organization brought the Korea Travel Fiesta 2025 to the Mall of Asia Music Hall last August 30 and 31. For two whole days, the venue turned into a mini slice of Korea with booths, performances, and even K-beauty demos.

The booths were a big hit, especially for travelers looking for deals. Various travel promotions were up for grabs, which made planning a Korea trip feel even more tempting. And since Korea isn’t just about sights but also style, Korean beauty products had their spotlight too. Live demos showed how these products work, and honestly, it was fun seeing people try them out and instantly glow.

One special focus this year was Gangwon, which they highlighted as the ultimate winter destination. Think skiing, snow activities, and those dreamy snowy landscapes you usually only see in K-dramas. The MelaSon Family joined a talk session where they shared more about it, and it really made you want to start packing for winter already.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the Korea Travel Fiesta without performances to hype up the crowd. Artix opened the stage with energetic dances, followed by the cast of “Show Musical Dream High” with a musical number that felt straight out of the theater. K-Tigers then wowed everyone with a mix of martial arts and powerful dance. And the cherry on top? Kim Myung Soo (L) as the main act—definitely the moment fans were waiting for.

All in all, it was two days of culture, fun, and a whole lot of Korea in one spot. If you missed it, well… let’s just say you missed a pretty cool sneak peek into what Korea has to offer!

Korea Tourism Organization Launches Korea Fiesta Deals to Make Regional Travel More Affordable for Filipinos

by Philippine KPOP Convention August 22, 2025
written by Philippine KPOP Convention

Manila, Philippines – The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), together with Korea’s leading airlines—Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and Jeju Air—has officially launched the Korea Fiesta Deals on August 19, 2025. This exclusive promotion is designed to give Filipino travelers more reasons to explore Korea beyond Seoul by making domestic flights within the country more accessible and affordable.

With the Korea Fiesta Deals, passengers flying from the Philippines to Korea can enjoy up to PHP 5,600 in subsidies for a roundtrip domestic flight. This allows travelers to discover destinations such as Jeju Island, with its K-Drama-worthy landscapes and famous tangerines, or Busan, known for its vibrant city life and stunning coastlines. The promo also applies to other regional destinations depending on each airline’s domestic routes.

To qualify, travelers must book a Philippines–Korea ticket exclusively with Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, or Jeju Air through their official platforms or designated partners. Once the international ticket is secured, passengers can then book a Korea domestic roundtrip flight through the same platform or process required by their chosen airline. Each passenger is entitled to a maximum subsidy of PHP 5,600, with any excess charges, taxes, or fees to be covered by the traveler.

The Korea Fiesta Deals promo runs from August 19 until December 21, 2025, on a first-come, first-served basis. It is applicable only to flights within 2025. Full mechanics may vary depending on the airline:

  • Korean Air passengers must be SKYPASS members and can redeem their domestic flight coupon via the airline’s website after booking a Manila or Cebu to Seoul ticket.

  • Asiana Airlines passengers can book through its ticketing office or designated travel agency partners and then proceed to avail of a Korea domestic flight on the same platform.

  • Jeju Air passengers can book their Manila–Incheon–Manila ticket via designated agencies, then avail of the domestic flight promo through the same booking channel.

The promotion will also be available during the Korea Travel Fiesta 2025 happening on August 30–31 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, where guests can enjoy K-Culture showcases, live performances, and exclusive travel offers.

Through this program, KTO continues its efforts to encourage Filipino visitors to explore Korea’s diverse regions, from its winter ski resorts to its coastal cities and cultural towns, making every trip more rewarding and memorable.

Korea Travel Fiesta 2025 Lands at MOA with Stars and Snowy Vibes

by Philippine KPOP Convention August 22, 2025
written by Philippine KPOP Convention

Okay, everyone, mark your calendars because this is BIG. The Korea Travel Fiesta 2025 is happening on August 30 and 31 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, and it’s basically going to bring a slice of Korea’s magical winter right here to Manila

The star of the show? None other than Kim Myung Soo, yes, L from INFINITE! Even though he’s busy shooting a new drama in Korea, he’s flying over just to serenade his Filipino fans. Imagine hearing him sing live while daydreaming about snowy nights in Korea… we’re already swooning.

But that’s not all. The lineup is stacked with Se7en, Kim Dong-jun of ZE:A, Sunye of Wonder Girls, Lim Se-jun of Victon, and Kim Da-hyun from Dream High: The Musical. Plus, the dance crew ARTix from Street Dance Girls Fighter, the jaw-dropping K-TIGERS Taekwondo team, and the Everyone’s KPOP winners from KCC Philippines. Basically, the stage is going to be on fire the whole weekend.

Aside from fangirling (or fanboying), there’s actually a lot of cool travel stuff too. KTO Manila is giving away the Korea Fiesta Deal where you can save up to PHP 5,600 on Korea domestic flights when you book your international ticket. And if you’ve been dreaming of skiing, snowboarding, or just playing in the snow, seven of Korea’s top ski resorts will be there to show off why winter in Korea is a must.

And yes, there will be travel booths, visa info, hanbok-wearing, photo booths, free K-beauty makeovers, DIY souvenirs — basically, a whole weekend of living your best Korea fantasy.

The event is open from 10 AM to 10 PM and it’s organized by the Korea Tourism Organization Manila Office. So whether you’re a hardcore K-pop fan, a travel junkie, or just someone who wants to see Kim Myung Soo up close (let’s be real, that’s most of us), this is the event to be at.
